SP-404 20th-anniversary celebrations are kicking off in a big way, with worldwide events during the week of 404 Day in cities that have played a key role in the rise of SP-404 beat culture. Spanning five continents, the festivities will hit Tokyo, Osaka, Kumamoto, Yokohama, Melbourne, Mumbai, Rome, Berlin, London, São Paulo, Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Portland, Sacramento, and more.
Global 404 Takeover
The 404 Day events will feature live performances, beat battles, artist panels, exclusive merch giveaways, and more—uniting the DJs, producers, and beatmakers who have built careers and cultural movements around the SP-404.
In-person attendees can also join giveaways for limited-edition 404 Day merch, instruments that complement the SP-404MKII, including the AIRA Compact S-1 and J-6, Serato licenses, Roland Cloud membership, and Melodics subscriptions at participating events.
Beyond the main events, several Roland Stores worldwide—such as Roland Store London and Roland Store Tokyo—will host their own 404 Day celebrations. These will include SP-404 1-2-1 in-store workshops, live demos, performances, and more.
