Since its inception in 1996, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has grown from an upstart conference to “the most upfront, influential, and educational gathering for electronic music and its industry.” By hosting over 1,000 events across hundreds of locations, ADE leverages the artistic history of this historic Dutch city, fusing it with cutting-edge music and technology. From panels to interviews to performances featuring the TR-1000 Rhythm Creator, here is a rundown of Roland’s presence at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2025. Roland is proud to collaborate with the festival by presenting a host of events at venues around Amsterdam.

Venue Guide

  • Rush Hour RecordsSince 1997, Rush Hour has evolved into a haven for music lovers, both as a label and a record store. Initially importing obscure house and techno records, the distribution wing led to the start of the label, which saw releases by Carl Craig, KiNK, and others. Rush Hour also promotes events at venues worldwide. 
  • ADE Lab at Pacific: The new ADE Lab Village in Westergas is the ultimate home base for creatives to find their future in music. The Lab’s goal is to help aspiring artists, producers, and music professionals take their careers to the next level.
  • WestWeelde: Club WestWeelde (formerly known as Westerunie) is an industrial nightclub located at the Westergas in Amsterdam Westerpark, open since 2007. The musical program is as diverse as the inhabitants of Amsterdam, with music styles ranging from techno and hip-hop to Latin and disco.
  • Nxt Museum: At the intersection of electronic music, visual art, and technology, Nxt Museum explores the diverse voices and futures of techno. Located in the Amsterdam North neighborhood, this experimental space is renowned for its large-scale immersive light art and innovative exhibitions. 
  • Shelter: Touting itself on its website as a “never-ending groove,” Shelter is an underground nightclub located in the A’DAM Tower. The popular club boasts a Funktion-One sound system, 24/7 party permit, and top DJs and innovative voices from around the world.
